AWS describes a $35 billion Virginia expansion plan through 2040. Google’s August 2025 announcement describes an additional $9 billion of Virginia cloud and AI infrastructure investment through 2026.
These are separate programs covering different time periods and scopes. Neither figure proves that a specific campus is complete, that the amount has been spent, or that a particular MW figure is available. Campus records therefore retain undisclosed capital values when no campus-specific evidence is supplied.
